Claro Accessible Insights: coming together to learn about SIL, ROC, SDA and PACE

Claro Aged Care & Disability Services, together with NDIS plan manager Pathways to Care hosted a knowledge and networking session ‘Accessible Insights’ in December 2023.

At the event attendees heard from NDIS industry experts while learning about SIL, ROC, SDA and PACE. 

Jeremy Riordan (Claro) shared insights and tips on pathways to supporting NDIS Participants to access SIL (Supported Independent Living) Funding, with a focus on the evidence required, and the development of the participants ROC (Roster of Care).

Stacey Hutchins (Claro) conducted a Q&A session with SDA provider, Greg Frid, founder of Project Friday. In this session, they explored questions around the challenges to be overcome when faced with incorrect funding, the key differences between SDA and SIL, where does rent or disability pension funding come into play, and the all-important questions for many participants, are pets allowed in SDA.  

Tahlya Sleep (Pathways to Care) then took the mic to give an update on the new NDIS business system, PACE, which is built on Salesforce, and designed to improve user experience. PACE will offer benefits for Support Coordinators, including improved visibility and simplified RFS processes.
